Original Post: My publisher encouraged me to write a short story with a seasonal theme (as in Winter seasonal). I have called it The Guild of Ornamental Hermits Time-Warp Yule but she may call it something different. It will be published on Kindle Unlimited sometime in the next week or two.
I am making a video to go along with the story, and here are a couple of the illustrations I’ve created. The first one shows three Elves: Septimus (in gold) doing magic to decorate the faux winery Time Warp (featured in The Dire Deeds), as well as Nen and Nar chatting.
The Dire Deeds, and the rest of The Guild of Ornamental Hermits books are epic, urban fantasies featuring scads of LGBTQIA+ characters.
The illustration below features Professor Almond (an Elf), Lucky LaFey (not an Elf), and up at the top, two of the Hermits, Oyster and Babe, also doing some magical decorating.
