This wonderful painting of Norse Loki, by Casey Triere, perfectly captures my mental image of “Lucky LaFey.” I have permission from the artist to post this work here. Book ThreeLoki LaufeyjarsonIn addition to the cast of characters you’ve already met in The Dire Deeds and The Witching Work, the third book, The Queerest Quest, has an additional cast of new characters, including a new villain, Samuel Dipp.
In The Queerest Quest, our Hermits and Elves assist Lucky LaFey (a human form of the Norse god Loki Laufeyjarson) as he searches for Váli, his missing son. Sigyn, Váli’s mother, makes an appearance in the book, as does Angrboda the Chiefess of the Iron Wood, and all seventeen of Loki’s “witch daughters.” And Vesta returns.

The noxious Anna Phylaxia returns and joins the Wethrini bad guy, Samuel Dipp, at his Heartstar Retreat Center. The two make a pretty pair!
